i. Registration fee and Accommodation charges must be paid by the applicant. Travel support can only be applied after registration at DAE-SSPS-2024 website.
ii. Sleeper class / 2nd Sitting (non-AC) train/bus fare by the shortest route will be provided, on request to deserving research students presenting their thesis or papers.
iii. Participants attending the symposium for all 5 days and presenting paper will be eligible for travel assistance.
iv. Kindly note that the Travel Support to the eligible participants will be provided subject to availability of funds.
v. Request for the Travel Support via the website will generate a reference number. Quote the reference number, while submission of hard copy documents at travel desk. The same “User Account” for paper submission or registration should be used for requesting Travel Support.
vi. Certificate from parent institution, duly signed by head of department (HoD), clearly stating that “the participant has no access to funds from any other source”, must also be sent to us at daessps2024@gmail.com along with the request and original copy to be submitted at travel support desk during the DAE-SSPS-2024 at DAE convention centre, Anushaktinagar.
vii. Hard copy of fare comparison at IRCTC website should be provided along with the ticket, showing minimum fare of the route. Candidate has to visit irctc.co.in and select source and destination, class SL or 2S, Quota “General” and travel date, click on “Search”. On the next page, click on Sleeper (SL) or 2nd sitting (2S) to display the corresponding fare for each train running between the stations. Take hard copy print of the IRCTC train list page displaying the comparative fare for onward and return journeys and it has to be submitted at travel support desk.
viii. Hard copies of the following documents have to be submitted at symposium travel desk compulsorily for processing claim:
a) Onward and return journey tickets (booked from IRCTC or railway ticket counter) clearly showing the fare paid
b) Original certificate in institution letter head signed by HoD as mentioned in (vi)
c) Print from IRCTC website of comparative fare as mentioned in (vii)
d) Cancelled cheque/copy of first page of passbook/account statement of the bank account clearly showing the account number and IFSC code for claim settlement
