Read Carefully: Instructions for Accommodation

  1. This facility is for booking accommodation only for participating PhD students and Research Associate (RA) of the 70th DAE SSPS 2026.
  2. Limited number of accommodations are available only for the registered PhD students and RAs on advance payment basis, which will be allotted on a first come first serve basis.
  3. Participants will be provided a shared accommodation at a fixed total charge of Rs. 5000/- per head (non-refundable) for the entire conference duration (5 nights, 15th - 19th Dec., 2026).
  4. The accommodation has been reserved only for 5 nights from 15th December (check-in) to 20th December, 2026 (check-out). Beyond this period, if any participant needs to stay for an extra date for any unavoidable reason, he/she should send an email to daessp2026@visva-bharati.ac.in and daessps70@gmail.com requesting the same. The accommodation arrangements for this period will be charged extra and based on availability. An earlier request will help us in arranging for the same.
  5. Accommodation covers only the stay. All meals (breakfast to dinner) for the registered participants are arranged at the symposium venue for the full symposium period, from dinner on 15th to lunch on 20th Dec. 2026, without any extra charges.
  6. Registration must be completed for the participants before proceeding for booking accommodation.
  7. Last date of application for accommodation: 27/11/2026.
  8. Guidelines to send money towards accommodation charges online through SBI Collect Module under State Bank of India at Visva-Bharati account is detailed below:

    2. Select Category – “Educational Institutions”
    3. Select “VISVA BHARATI UNIVERSITY”
    4. Select Payment Category “Misc Receipt”
    5. Fill up all details in CAPITAL and Select Purpose of Deposit “Other”
    6. Type at Remarks in CAPITAL “DAESSPS 2026”
    7. Take print out of payment receipt.

  9. Transport - TO and FRO (morning and evening after dinner) from Symposium Venue to accommodation will be provided for the symposium period.
